speaking of subplot

one of the tv's near the group showd a local news station showed repors of a bunch of people in radiation suits seaching a quarentined city, aparently some people had been interveiew and some said that some people were acting strange, shumferling around the streets, and sometime biting people or lunging at them.. the new rreport continued to talk qabout ths incident

"Step aside fool!" the figure said as he pushed Tophat into the wall, several metallic scarabs scurried out of his cloak and wrapped around tophat's hands and feet and welded themselves to the wall.

"HOSTILE!"
Tophat shouted while giving the metallic figure a migrane.

Gordon and Gwen had woken up and gotten themselves ready for the day.

Now they were eating breakfast from the kitchen. They found Erica sitting at the table.

The brother and sister pair extended their Koltanium senses. Damn, they almost have the entire city infected... We have been gone for far too long... Contacts...

The two became incased in their armors, as several new figures started approaching zombie-like. Their faces were glowing bright yellow, as crackled mutated skin poured out of their bodies, leaving several puddles of Koltanium liquid spattered on the floor.

another scarab scurried over tophat's mouth sealing it shut. the figure then proceeded to walk down corridors as if he was searching for something.
