After having the painful memories blurred out and not recognizing the good memories as her own, Erica became hollow and apathetic.
She mentally sighed and remained silent.

Tophat started the process of blurring together the good memories with the bad, so that Erica would recognise them as her own.

As her good memories were restored, Erica let out a small gasp. She still remained silent, but this was more because she was processing the memories then anything else.
Everything is falling into place now... Though I'm... unsure how I feel about it.
