@Drak: Yeah, but Salty says it's fairly slow and Freddie had already lost a lot of blood. So, I'm going to say that's how Freddie survived long enough to get to the roof but was still weak enough to fall off the edge.
And he actually died because he fell off head first.

Kia nods, and jumps out the side of the ship. She begins sprinting in the direction Misa was at, climbing buildings with relitive ease, jumping from rooftop to rooftop, occassionally placing down a ladder, and slowly reaching where Four and Misa was. As of this post, they can faintly see them.
