Seeing that there were now two separate Misas, Four did the first thing that came into her head. She let go of Misa 1, content that Tophat had control of the situation. Then she grabbed Misa 2 by the head and slammed her to the ground. Then she started mercilessly kicking Misa 2 in the side as hard as she could. She heard what Tophat told her and started kicking Misa 2 even harder, somehow.

Now, imagine if he dropped the cookies? He wouldn't want more, so he wouldn't bake them, which prevents him from dropping the cookies because they never existed.

@Trilby: And that's exactly why I don't like Time Travel in fiction. It's always way too damn complex.
