Gerry thought for a moment. "[sub]...Well...you should be happy you have a home to go back to. A place where you can be safe all the time......[sub][sub]unlike me.....[/sub][/sub][/sub]" Gerry said, hoping to cheer Asha up, even if he upset himself in the process. He tried to not show his eyes starting to water.
"Well, not really. I mean it's not like it'd be safe for us to...oh. You don't have a home either? What happened?" Asha said to Gerry as she looked up and over at him.
"[sub][sub][sub]...I don't really like to talk about it...I'm suppose to be making you feel better anyway...[/sub][/sub][/sub]" Gerry said, trying to divert attention away from himself.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I should have realized you might not want to talk about it." Asha said apologetically. She got an idea in her head and said, "I know how you can make me feel better! That is, if you still want to..."
"Where did I leave that...there it is! Now where's my...here we go!" Asha mumbled to herself as she was bent over, looking into her suitcase. She pulled out a sketch-pad and a set of pencils. She sat on the ground and started to scribble something, occasionally looking up at Gerry for a split second.
At this moment, Erica was alot of things, and calm wasn't one of them. She paced up and down throuh Tophat's mind. Just make her go away!
You promised you'd keep her away from me.
From sheer boredom, Winter started preparing several bottles of her energy drinks and put them in storage in the Big Orphan's fridge. She eventually found Gerry and Asha.
