She curled up into a fetal position and rocked back and forth, too shocked to even cry let alone respond to Tophat.
Having fully regained his senses, Kefka looked at Ceanis' body and began zapping it with Thunder spells.

He ignored Sephiroth as he was blinded by rage.

"Let GO!!" Joe shouted, pulling at Johnny as he tried to keep running. "I need to run! That eraser is going to get me!!" Joe shouted, tears in his eyes as he frantically looked to see where the monster had gotten to. The dust cloud he had generated from running so fast blocked the view behind him.
"Okay, take a few minutes. But keep in mind, that they seem to know we're here. This entire place is swarming with potential enemies. These people are loyal to Ikaros and if he tells them to, they will attack us nonstop." Jio warns the group.

One of Ceanis' frozen eyeballs rollsed near Kefka's foot. He looked down and stomped on it.
"Now I'll calm down." He said with a hateful tone.
Erica remained silent. Although she wasn't crying out loud, tears perpetually rolled down her cheecks.
