The memory shard glows again, as a quick memory plays next to Four and Tanner. It was the night before Winter died against the Director and AE00.

"...You won't lose any of us. I promise you that. Even... even if I die, I'll make sure to guard you. No matter what happens, I will be here for you... Gwen, Jin, Jio, Joe, Lambda... Everybody." She grips on to Four's hands, bringing them close her mouth.

"This I promise you." she concludes, her blue eyes looking into Four's.

"...Also for them to not even think for taking one of our own for their sick experiments. I will return Four, no matter what."

"I. Will. Return."

The memory of Winter looks at Four in the eyes, her blue orbs of eyes smiling at Four.

"I told you I would return right? I don't break promises Four. That is for certain." The memory quickly disappears.

"Come on...don't be so hard on yourself...Of course it hurts...it's suppose to. You can't do anything but move forward." I say to Four. (I'm going to say that Tanner didn't see any of that Winter stuff).

Seeing that nothing else was going on, Riou decides to begin some training. He takes out his tonfa and begins practicing.

OoC: Well, technically Jio and Jin are still alive...
Does anyone else think of DBZ abridged Nail when they reference @Nail or am I alone in that?

"I...I couldn't have done it anyway...I already tried...back when I first came here...back when I was alone...I tried so many times...I couldn't do it then...I can't do it now...I'm just a coward..." Four said to Tanner, recalling the time she spent in the current universe before she met Mia again.
She noticed the visions Winter showed her. [sub][sub]"Not everyone can just come back like that..."[/sub][/sub] She mumbled.

"Please stop being so hard on yourself...just stop it...for me." I ask as I hug Four again.

A small smile broke across Four's face. "Fine...if it'll make you feel better." She said as she hugged Tanner back.

"Maybe. I'm glad I still have you though." Asha said to Gerry as tears kept rolling down her face.

"It will...seeing you happy is about the only thing that makes me happy these days." I say to Four, hoping she won't react badly to that.

Gerry tried to wipe some of the tears from Asha's face, but he was rather clumsy about it. "[sub][sub]I'm sorry...[/sub][/sub]" he said as he smiled guiltily.

"Really? The only thing that gives you joy anymore is me? I'll do my best then." Four said as she let go and took a step back from Tanner so she could look him in the face again.

Asha was slightly amused by Gerry's clumsy attempts to cheer her up. "S'okay." She said to him.

OOC: Well, I'm going to bed. I'm a little tired and these blankets are too comfy. :3

Gwen arranged to sleep in one of Four's cots in the Armory.
Sara slept in the same room, just cus she's Gwen's 'big' sister.

Gerry didn't know what else to do now, so he just hugged Asha again with a small smile.

Grace stood and brought some food and water to Kia, then locked her up again.

"I think I need to go now...there's still something I have to do." Four said to Tanner, not able to return his smile.

Asha kept hugging Gerry. She was still sad, but now somewhat less so.

"Hang on a second...I don't know if you intend to try and get revenge on this Varger guy, but...don't. I know how that sounds, but hear me out. It wont accomplish anything and I can only think that he wants you to go after him, so don't give him the satisfaction." I say to Four, very seriously.

Gerry held Asha, glad that he was somehow making her feel better.

Riou noticed Grace get up and leave before coming back. He stops his practice. "What was that about?"

"I know that! It's not like I could even if I tried..." Four said to Tanner as she looked down at her feet.
