Sephiroth almost smiled as he returned to his normal speed, vanishing from within the radius of the flames. 'That may be, but how fast can you go?' he asked, reappearing midair with a second Haste spell ready to cast on himself.
They were even again, at least until one of their spells wore off... or Kefka found a way to go even faster. There would be no point in them attempting to Slow each other now, though; it would only result in a stalemate until one of them lost patience with hastening and slowing repeatedly.
Sephiroth grabbed Kefka's clothing in his right hand, flinging him upwards, preparing to follow him into the air with a strike from Masamune.

Four sat down next to Grace. She sat there and waited for Grace to tell her what was wrong.
@Nile: I've been thinking...would your Asha even still be named Asha? I mean she was kidnapped when she was only a day old, why'd whoever-the-fuck-that-kidnapped-her choose to let her keep that name instead of giving her a new one?
Also, nice job. Now all of our characters are screwed. Including yours, probably.

@Drak: Why not keep that name? It's not like it's going to bring back all those happy... memory.
OoC: Someone make these threads into movies, or just add some picture or something! Awesome moments like this fight between the God of Magic and the One Winged Angel deserve some artwork.

The hands on the upper clock moved clockwise while the hands on the lower one moved counter-clockwise. Once the hands on both clocks stood on 12, Sephiroth was frozen in time.
Kefka landed with a thud on the ground and hoped away. By this time, his Protect spell had faded so he needed to be more careful.
Erica sighed, though her own soul remained rather cold despite Tophat radiating warmth.

Well you already named her. If TW tried to give her a different name, complications may have arrived later. It's same with how he had to reference Four and Mia about the Spiel of how she ended up with him in the first place.Drakmorg said:

@ALL: the sword being sentient wasn't supposed to be revealed until tomorrow, but whatever. This is being a nuance for my plotz.
