He snapped his fingers, and Ignis apeared behind him, floating over to close the doors. A cold smile appeared on his face as he began his research and the door slammed shut.

Asuming that his naginata could not be used to block the energy weapon, Gilgamesh droped to the ground to avoid the swipe.
He then smacked Dandy in the stomach with the end of the naginata to push him back before rolling backwards and getting back to his feet. Once standing again, Gilgamesh made a low swipe aiming for Dandy's knees.
