"Wait...what? What do you mean?" I ask Mia as I get to my feet.

I know the feeling. Back when I had that body, on the last world, I didn't want to take another one, despite the fact that is was hardly the most combat effective.
I didn't want to get rid of it because I felt sorry for the poor woman who's soul I kicked out. Keeping that body was a way to pay my respects of sorts. I still feel quilty about doing it.

I'm dead, so there's no point in trying to live up to standards I was never happy with anyway, right? I mean, it would just be holding onto false hope, you know? And this doesn't mean I won't still do anything to help you or Four or Lambda or anybody out with their problems. You know I'd never give up on you guys like that." I say, hoping I'm making myself more clear to her.

Tophat saw that everyone seemed to be involved in deep conversation, and sat down in a chair.

Grace gave Lambda a mournful smile. "You say that like people are incapable of being cruel and illogical..." She slightly frowned at Sara. "I see. I am sorry for expecting the worst from you...Although...in my home land, there are also certain...stories that exist about me and my brethren..." she said even more sadly.

I grow a little angry at what Mia says. "Whoa whoa whoa. I haven't forsaken everything I believed in, just some stupid rule that I never liked to start with. And who are you to put all that pressure on me? Preventing people's deaths and protecting them from pain. You don't think I still want to do that? Hell, that's the thing I regret the most about being dead. The fact that I can't help people like I used to. And do you have any idea how long I've been agonizing over this? I was wrestling with this problem even when I was still alive, and I just now made this decision. And I can't do anything besides relive my past in here! That's all there is! That's all I have left! That's all that's left...and I hate it...I hate running through my life over and over and over again! But it's all I can do!" I say rapidly and quite angrily.

"tanner.... i... what would you do if i missplaced this necklace whilst four was asleep?" mia asked hypatheticly

Joe got bored with playing with his large rubber band on the roof, he was planning on slingshoting himself over to Tophat when it has coming back to the motel, but Joe hadn't gotten it ready in time. So he drew a dimension door into the roof and stuck his head through it. He could see a bunch of the others talking amungst themselves.

It happened that Joe had stuck his head through above Tophat so he didn't notice it yet.
