Varger looks at Riou. "Great. First Jormungandr, then this guy and now you. Listen, the only runes I've heard of is the runes the Graven use to write." Varger shakes his head at George. "Mace? What Mace?"
"I'm talking about the 27 True Runes which govern my world as Gods. Like the one on my right hand, the Bright Shield Rune. Who are you and what is it that you want?" Riou looks at Varger's appearance for a moment. Is that some sort of armor?
"Put simply you can't." Varger says to George. "What I want is to not have my personality overwhelmed by an aspect of my own conciousness when it isn't my decision." He says to Riou. "I'm Varger. Former mercanary and killer in general."
"I'm Riou Genkaku. Bearer of the Bright Shield Rune, aspect of the Rune of Beginning, one of the 27 True Runes. Former leader of the Dunan Unification Army and usurper of Destiny." Riou looks over Varger closely. "Perhaps I could help you."

"No, myself has to fight myself. There was an accident. Some idiot disturbed the Jormungandr system in my mind and now its aware of me and him." Varger says. "I can help myself, it depends on my mind-set as to what happens."
"Thats you and this is me. Differant." Varger says simply. He siezed the topic of fate, hoping to give something to occupy Jormungandr. "Never saw any evidence of fate, stuff just happens."
"The True Runes will alter a person's fate. Even if you can't see it, the Rune will slightly alter a person's fate. It has it's own desire and it will bend the destiny of those around it to make that desire a reality. Even if you don't believe that doesn't mean it doesn't happen." Riou said stopping and looking back over his shoulder at Varger.
"The Rune wanted to come here. That's why I'm here. It applies all the same." Riou starts walking back to the ship.
