Four's condition actually seemed to start to deteriorate, despite the healing she was receiving. Burning wreckage of her IS were falling around the group.

OOC: Yeah, this was planned in advance. Maybe it wasn't planned all that well I admit, but still.
Also, if this doesn't happen Four is pretty much gonna be crippled and unable to fight at all.

Some unforseen force seems to interfeer with everyones but Laura's attempt to help Four. Tophat loses grip on Four's mind, as if its swatted away. Grace's healing stops doing anything, and Shepard's ship seems to smoke.

And I agree with Salty. IMO, if you're going to kill off a character, keep them dead. Don't just Macguffin them back.

OoC: Guys, for craps sake, we have to let plots happen! This little "Lambda degeneration" arc, I had to plan ahead to make sure that she couldn't just be fixed instantly or have Tophat put her in a new body or something. Plotting for this group is hard sometimes. We could solve near anything if our characters had a brain. When a plot comes up, you have to encourage it, not slam it down. Unless @JaguarDwarf suggested it.

Tophat cursed a lot, getting a grip around Four's soul was very difficult, and it wasn't going well.

@Gear. To be fair, I think this is the first time a serious plot hole has shown up in almost everyone's faces and that's why they're confused. Also throwing away sense and continuity in way of plot just breaks up the story on a huge level.

I disagree with this statement. That is not what an RP thread like this is about, in my opinion. "Letting plots happen" is not what you do in and RP. I've always felt that a good plot should be open to changes based on character input. I realize we must have done something to cause this to happen, but to just say, "I planned this, so just sit back and watch." seems so wrong.

I know I've done this sort of thing myself, but...well how about an example. If the majority of people said they didn't want Tanner to die the way he did because it didn't make sense (and it really didn't, in retrospect) I would have had him live. I feel that we should all be open to change, based on what popular opinion is. Those are my feelings.

I also agree with @Slenn and @Trilby.
