OoC: I'm mixed on this. I don't like this turn, but I understand what it is like to plot events and have difficulties.
Then again, I never went with a specific event. And I actually did respect the group's thoughts. When @Demon was coming up with ideas to save Four from Medea, I took what he was suggesting seriously. I did actually think of whether it would have succeeded or not, and say as much. If he found a way to save them both, I would have let it go through.
I have other thoughts and feelings, but I won't voice them at this time.
@Slenn Actually, I have an idea that would make the whole group save her in a sense...

OoC: I concede that there are other solutions, but we've never really had a character at death's door like this, save AEanna back in the second thread. She was originally going to die, and even when she did come back, it took a while and another character died anyway. There's only so much you can do on the spot. Either we do @Drak's plot and Four comes back fast, or she's laid up for a few days while the healers work on her.

Karkat Aims at Riou's head, intent to prevent him from saving Four.
She had to much romance, too much love. He hated love. Hated it with a burning passion. He would have the emotion wiped from the face of the multiverse, eventually. But small steps.
Deal with these folks trying to heal her now, so that she might lose the love as a robot. If she failed to lose her love, he would kill her then.

OOC: The thing is, I would be okay with Four fusing to the IS if there was NO other solution. But logically letting her recover slowly is the best solution at this point. Having the last-ditch solution be our first-to-go problem solver just doesn't work logically.

It may have been powerful, but it made no god damn sense, and you have to admit that. @jazz had his healer character right outside the ship. Someone, literally anyone, could have saved Tanner by bringing him to the ships med-bay (probably). No one called me on this plot hole (even thought this wasn't really a plot I feel like the principle of the thing is the same), so I just rolled with it like everyone else.Gearhead mk2 said:
