Grace grabbed Lambda's hand and held it gently as she looked intently at her face, moving her own very close to it. "Lambda, can you hear me?" she whispered into Lambda's ear.

"Who the hell are you?!" Kefka yelled at the boy that had appeared in the room.
He then heard saw someone cutting up the door and decided he didn't care. He turned to the door, ready to strike
Hazama briefly looked up, but had too much fun torturing Diane to stop on account of some random person appearing.
Then, he too heard someone cutting up the door and decided to inflict as much pain on Diane as possible before being interupted.
After cutting open Diane's gums, Hazama peeled them up and began violently bashing on her teeth with the end of his knife.
"Dammit! Why does this always happen?!"

"Halt vile creatures! Let the woman go and accept your fate!" Rose shouted as she kicked open a hole in the door and pointed her Rifles directly at Hazama and Kefka's heads. She saw that Hazama had no inclination to stop and shot at his knee, then charged to slash at his arm, forcing him to choose between letting Diane go or losing a body part.
"Hopefully..." was all that Asha could manage to say.

"I overestimated my odds. I must retreat." Rose said. She grabbed Diane and dragged her out, using her wings to cover her retreat. Then she flew off back to the ship with Diane.
@Silver: So Conall's just straight up Cartoon Villain now then huh? Because last I remember Rose and Conall weren't exactly on unfriendly terms.
Also, terrible timing, but I have to go for dinner now.
