Winter sat in a large mansion house, sipping tea. It was a quiet day.
Two figures in power armor started walking towards her. It was Phantom and Arkgain. As they walked forward their armors started peeling away, much like how Winter's armor does.
"So what do you think of the city, Ms. Anderson?"
"Its quite beautiful... Tartarus... I thought it would be hell-hole."
"Well not everything is what it seems, right? That's the main lesson that Zero taught us. Everybody believes that the Void is an empty space. That's wrong. Everybody believes that the two powers of the Mirror cities will continue fighting. No, they are becoming tired of this. This is the main lesson of the Void. Not everything is what it seems. I hope that your friends will also realize that."
"Like how you two didn't actually betray Elysium?" Phantom smiles.
"Nope. Under direct orders from Zero. He wants to end this war more than anybody else."
"Hope... That's what he's putting on your group... But there's another reason why we brought you here." Winter paused drinking her tea.
"Oh? And what is that?"
"As we already told you, my... Our universe needs saving. Experiments like ourselves need 'hope.' You embody that Winter. They need you."
Winter looks slightly down. "I know... And I know the cost of going back."
Phantom and Arkgain look down as well.
"We know. If there was another way, then we would have done so, but... This is it."
Winter stands up, as her body starts glowing a soft blue color. "Will... Will I see my friends again?"
"If they truly are your friends, they will awaken your spirit."
Winter smiles, as tears fall from her face. "Thank you... Phantom and Arkgain..."
"Please... Its Robert Dowin, AE12."
"Cody Kodiah, WR10." With a sudden poof, Winter was gone.
"Once again, you shouldn't have done that to Four." Cody shrugged.
"The group needed a push."
"But like that?"
"Scott cannot know about who we truly are."
Robert sighed, as the two friends exited the building.
