"I fight for my friends, and the Diamond Sword tribe. Sadly I'm not able to contact them again."

"Friendship." Anger welled inside Korlandril and he almost exploded. It was the actions of his two dearest friends that had made him feel Khaine's call. "Nought but a distant memory like Dawnhawk drifting through trees. I remember little of Korlandril the Artist but only know that actions of his friends are what made him walk the path of the warrior."

These are not things for a warrior to feel. I am Korlandril the Warrior and Not-Korlandril. I am both yet none. In battle I am Khaine's Deadly Shadow and can feel nought but rage and hatred. These emotions remain with my war mask as they are dangerous to be felt outside of battle just as remorse and compassion are dangerous to feel in battle."

"In battle, I do not show regret, nor doubt. However, I am not in battle at the moment. But if you are naught but a warrior, then we are quite alike. I have been on deployment for my entire grown life, as experienced soldiers are always in short supply."
He leans against the wall beside the door.
"The dangers of war, for me, is failing my tribe, failing my duty. Death does not face me anymore."

They are abhorred and revered equally." He wave his right hand. "Talk of war has my soul singing, please leave. I do not wish to harm anyone who has not been fated to die."
