Gwen decided to follow after Sara to see where she went. She saw her footprints lead to the portal back to Paris.
Once back in Paris. She did her best to follow their voices to catch up.

The em-blazed symbol of the Vanguards, twin swords crossing each other, rests on his right shoulder. However, on his left shoulder was the symbol of the Wardens, a large shield with a rose in the middle.
