Reimu stomped her foot into the ground when she found out that France was waaaay the heck away from Japan.

But I'm going to need something a lot faster." She goes into the open countryside and in a puff of smoke, she forms a ball four times the size of a beachball with the yin-yang symbol printed on it. She hops onto the sphere and sets sail for France flying at a speed comparable to a Boeing 747.
