For one, it is also quite odd to have emotions that are not sentient.

Gerry pulled Asha a little closer so he could stand between her and Rose, giving both of them a small smile.
"I...am not sure if you should...I should be back soon." Grace said to Lambda as she picked up a bed sheet and left the med-bay. She walked out of the ship and to the warehouse. After some searching, she found the corpse she had tripped over, wrapped it in the sheet and carried it back to the med-bay.

Rose noticed Maka, Soul, and Joe out of the corner of her eye. She followed after them with concern.
Asha returned Gerry's smile, now seeming a little less nervous about being out in public in just a bath-robe. She was thankful no one else seemed to notice.
