The pillars start breaking, but Scott takes no damage, considering his Void soul is in the pillars. But shielded as well.

The 1st and 5th pillars have Zero's symbol on them, the 2nd and 4th pillars have the symbol of Tartarus on them, and the middle pillars has a small eye symbol in the middle of it.

The pillars charge up again and fire an inferno blast at everything in the throne room.

Group 2, GO!

The pillars have souls? Interesting... Grace thinks to herself as she casts a shield spell on herself and Gerry. She then pulls out her knife and starts to hack at one of the pillars with the Tartarus symbol on it.

Nuzleaf released his Bide, and punched the third piller, hitting it with twice the power he was hit with.

OoC: Can he do that?

 

[Drakmorg]

Rose brought out her wings and wrapped them around herself to protect herself from the flames. She groaned in pain as her wings were burned, but they were still usable thanks to Jowy's Protect Mist. She took off into the air and examined the pillars.
But which is the proper target?
She fired energy blasts from her rifles at the other Tartarus pillar.

Four kept cowering behind a statue.

All three pillars shatter, giving no indication of anything. But Four and Gwen receive a sweet taste in their mouths.

Spoiler: Meanwhile In Space...

"Do we have any weapons with energy left?!"

No... No good! Tronium Engine is in cooldown!.. No wait... Power is Back!

Charlotte armed twin Metal Genocider cannons.

"HEAR THE ROAR OF THE H!T!B! CANNON!"

The Crusader Big Boss mech explodes, but the Space Army continues guarding the White Star.

Scott rematerializes bursting out of the ground.

Spoiler: Fire wings spread out.

"BEGONE! AXION BUSTER!" A massive 12 diameter beam zips out of his chest towards the group.

OoC: Absorbing this= death. Group 1, GO!

Riou raises his right hand. "Bright Shield Rune, grant me your power! Battle Oath!" A small shield symbol appears over Riou's hand. A fairly small green orb falls to the ground and then the energy seems to spread over the battlefield, little saplings seem to sprout from the lines of green energy. Then, the entire thing is enveloped in a glorious green light. Every member is healed of their injuries and their strength is restored.
In addition, Riou, Jowy, Rose, Four, Gwen, Winona, Gerry, and Dio all begin to glow with a red aura.

"Pale Palace!" A strange symbol appears over Jowy's head as a ghost ship appears and takes the hit from the beam. It is devastated and scuttled by the attack, and can't counter, but does protect the group.

Athena charges Scott with the Staff of Light trying to stab him with it like she would a spear.

OoC: Battle Oath is the level three Spell of the Bright Shield Rune. It heals the whole group and has a 50% chance to boost physical attributes, the red aura. We'll say that it simply boost all of a character's abilities by 50% and say it lasts for three turns. It has a 50% chance to initiate this effect. I flipped a coin to decide whether you received the boost or not. This is why some have it and others don't. It was never a personal thing. Just a chance of luck.

 

[Kirke]

Dio frowned at the red aura, then fired a spinfusor disk at Scott. Because of his position, he was out of the way from the beam.

Tophat rolled to the side, then looked at Scott. It appeared in Scott's mindscape, and looked around.
(To Scott: Truly disgusting, I will be glad when it is gone.)
A white light started spreading around it, erasing the area around Tophat.

Thanks to Riou and Jowy's efforts, the sisters, Reimu, and Gordon evade the hit.

Gwen fires a huge singularity in front of Scott.

<color=red>"Dream Sign, Devil Sealing Circle!" She yells as a huge column of light erupts beneath Scott.

Sara strikes her sword in the ground and sets off a fission eruption from behind Scoot at his back.

Winona sends out a thick Neutron Beam at Scott's right side.

Gordon takes the other side and fires a disintegrating energy sphere from his pulse rifle.

OoC: @Kirke he frowned at the red aura that is boosting his abilities? I don't even know what to say to that...
@Outis Well, in the game, it boosted physical attacks by 50%, but how many people in this group use what you would call physical attacks? Almost no one. So, I'm basically thinking it will boost your powers in general. So, Grace and Gerry should be more powerful in their magic as well as anything else.

Well for one, for all anyone in this group knows this red mist is some kind of poison inflicted on them by Scott, which would explain why Dion is not immediately thrilled to see it. And Grace did not get the affect, since she was not included in your list.

Ooc: @Outis fair enough, but I would say the fact that it came immediately after Riou's Spell would indicate otherwise. As for Grace, this probably won't be the last time the group sees Battle Oath. And, like I said, I flipped a coin. Heads you got an aura tails you didn't. Pretty simple.

Scott easily blocks Athena's charge, mildly amused. "Hello... And Goodbye." He swings at Athena with is sword smashing her into the ground. Ghe sword in question for Scott, is the worlds largest and bluntest instrument of all time, so Athena is not cut in any sort of fashion. He grabs her neck and throws her at Four's hiding spot.

The spinfuser disk explodes, denting Scott's armor. Tophat's actually sees nothing greater than the emotions of a normal human in Scott's mind, however it does contain a large library. But Scott in reality is not bugged the slightest bit.

Gwen and Co's attacks start peeling away at his armor. Scott raises his arms in the air, as three energy orbs 10 ft in diameter are launched towards the group. One of them has the Symbol of Tartarus on it, another the symbol of Zero, and the last one an small eyeball.

OoC: Group 2, GO! Might be finishing this off pretty soon.... >_>

Grace uses barriers to throw off and alter the aim of the orbs and make them miss the group.

Gerry starts to fire spirit bolts at Scott. These drastically slow him down.

"Why am I red? This can't be good..." Four lamented as she kept hiding.

Rose flew up into the air to avoid the energy attacks of Scott, then retaliated by raining down energy blasts from her rifles on him.

Xu sighes, "Nuzleaf, return!"
Nuzleaf is returned, and gardevoir floats up to Scott. She uses flash to blind him, and teleports behind him to use Confusion, making him confused while feeling like he has been kicked upside the head, since it reaches directly to his mind.
