Daniel arrived back and drew his sword, eyeing everyone nervously. He had never swung a weapon with the intention to kill. He saw where everyone was gathering and stood next to them, a fresh determination in his eyes. "I'm Daniel." He says aloud. "Just so you know if you have to put it on a headstone."
"Aw hell, that's no earthquake." the man growled, and drew his sniper rifle before searching through the trees with the scope, looking for the source of the footsteps.

The man glanced at Daniel from the corner of his eye and grunted.
"Major James Connor, European Containment, Eradication and Quarantine." he replied, before going back to searching for the source of the footsteps. "Stay sharp, lets try and stay above ground for a little longer." He nodded slightly at Tophat.
"Germany... yes, now that you mention it, I think it did. Spread across Europe fast enough though."

Several trees fell down near the group and kicked up a large cloud of dust. As the dust settled the group could see a figure walking towards them, the ground shook with its every step. The figure was covered from head to toe in thick armor. The figure looked over the group and chuckled. "You are the ones who disrupted the work of our Wraiths? I was expecting warriors, not this pathetic menagerie." The figure said in a booming voice. Anyone paying attention would notice that the figure was only about 2 feet tall.
Daniel's arm grew tired and he swapped the sword to his left arm while he flexed his right hand to work out the ache.
That noise was coming from outside, maybe we should check it out...

James heard the voice, but couldn't see anything. Confused, he opened his left eye and saw the armoured figure, well below the angle of his scope, and his jaw dropped.
"What... the... fuck? THAT's what was making those footsteps?!" He glanced over at Daniel.
"Well, I wasn't sure at first, butnow I'm thinking of just shooting it if it gives us any shit. Do we need more than that?"

Ragna looked at the tiny armoured figure. It looked ridiculous, but the rumbling suggested it had a lot of power to throw around. He took out his sword, holding it in his left hand.
