Kefka pounces on Ragna, and begins to lick him.
"MIGHTYENA, MIGHTYENA!"

Spoiler: what happened

OoC: Basically, Kefka and most of the other pokemon worked together to pull the wool over everyone's eyes, to help Kefka gain the respect of the group through careful planning.
1) The roar. That was Kefka Roaring to announce the beginning of his plan.
2) The falling tree. That was Combusken using cut on a tree, causing it to fall.
3) The whirlwind was literally the move 'WHIRLWIND' thanks to Beautifly.
4) The kicking tree twice was Double Kick, thanks to Combusken.
5) The stars... well, that's the move swift clashing with another swift, causing it to break into stars. Nuzleaf and Lombre know nature power, Nature power on a road is Swift.
6) Ring of fire, a ring of dead brantches set aflame from Combusken's Ember.
7) The flameing sunglasses were... well, a pair of sunglasses set aflame. Literally.

Well, did I forshadow it well enough? Or... do you think this was stupid?

Nuzleaf sits down next to Combusken, beautyfly, and Lombre, all exhausted from their effort.

OoC: @Wacky ...ok, I'm sorry, but WHAT? There was no foreshadowing, no buildup, no sign of what was going on... it just made no fucking sense.

OOC: @Wacky Ok... why did you do all that stuff?

"Oh, to hell with this." James grumbled, not feeling like waiting around to see what was going on. He turned away and began to trudge back toward his shelter, where he opened the bergen that he had left by his hammock. Opening it, he fished out an MRE and began to eat, ignoring the bland taste and unpleasant texture of the food inside. As he sat, he watched the others, not really paying attention. Instead he thought about what his next course of action would be.

OOC: @Wacky. Did you foreshadow good? Not really. Being a person who's hardly ever played anything beyond the second season, it didn't feel like anything special was happening. It was just weird. In addition there was no context for any of the events that just happened. You shouldn't need to explain all that happened if you're trying to give foreshadowing.

Spoiler: The small hints

Kefka slowly follows Daniel from the shadow's preparing to attack. He had everything planned out with his fellows.

Outside, the group can hear a Roar, and something hitting a Tree.

The group now hears a tree fall down.

The air outside seems remarkably windy, swirling around, like something resembling a tornado is going on, almost like a whirlwind.

They hear something kick a tree, twice so.

The Whirlwind continues to swirl around, beating them with swirls of air. It doesn't hurt too much, more like being tickled then anything.

Above, they see stars fly into the air, clashing together, breaking into smaller stars. Its strangely beautiful.

Around the group, they could see a small little ring of wood. They see a small little ember burst into exsistance, setting it aflame.

Mighyena prepares to pounce on his target, and earn their respect.

From the shadow's of one of the tree's, Kefka (The Mightyena) is knocked into the circle. He shakily gets up, and begins to bark at where he came from. The group can now see what looks like a pair of flaming sunglasses in the shadow of the tree's.

Basically, it was all an elaborate ruse, foreshadowed slightly. Or at least, I thought. It served 2 purposes:
1) Give me a bit of expirimentation with forshadowing, try to improve it.
2) Make Kefka out to be fairly clever at planning.
If they were to, lets say, look around or behind a tree, they would see everything explained.
Yeah, now that I think about it, not my brightest idea...[sub] Why do I never think things through...[/sub]

Kefka continues to lick Ragna.

James quickly finished his meagre breakfast and got to his feet, casually throwing the packaging aside. He approached the man with the red jacket and spiky silver hair (Ragna), who was still being pinned by the same wolf creature that had jumped on James the night before (Kefka). Drawing his crowbar weapon, James lightly tapped the animal on the side of the skull.
"Scram, mutt."

Mightyena jumps off of him, and stands up, rather confidently.
"Migh!"
I Vanquished a foe! She said, trying to seem powerful to the group. She thought her plan was rather nice.
