James flicked the undertaker around so that he could strike with the blunt curve of its hook and looked at the rock that Daniel had been sitting on. It looked black, dense and tough, and for a moment he idly wondered if it was common to Rio De Janeiro or if it was an isolated volcanic intrusion. Then, before the equally unwanted train of thought could take hold he bared his teeth, snarled and struck with a speed that the human eye could barely comphrehend, and that no ordinary human reflexes could match. The blunt edge cleaved right through the outcrop, splitting it apart in a narrow v shape and sending sharp splinters and dust into the air. With a grunt, he yanked the weapon loose from the rock.
"Yeah, so I can pretty much do that over and over for hours." he remarked. "That was giving it my all too, so if I was to go with a slightly less hefty blow I'd have more speed and control."
