Riou decides to do a little training and takes out his tonfa. Trying to remember the techniques that were taught to him and passed down from Genkaku to him and Nanami. These techniques were one of the few things he had to really remember either of them by and he would certainly not let them go to waste.

James sat with his hands clasped together over his mouth, elbows on his knees, hunched over and staring straight ahead as he listened to Erica's story. He sat like that for a while after she finished. Finally he straightened up, looked at her and spoke.
"I'm not gonna lie to you. I can't even begin to comprehend what that must have been like for you. The idea of losing everything good that had ever happened in your life... being left with nothing to hold onto when you needed it... Jesus, I don't know. You say that Tophat was able to restore you to your body though. Including all your memories?"

OOC: I need to sleep. Can we wrap this up?

"Not quite. He was only able to restore the memories of the events we shared.
That's why I can't remember so many things. There are huge gaps in my memories, things where I know something happened, perhaps even something important, but I don't know what.
It's frustrating to say the least." Erica replied with a low voice.

OoC: @Nail Was Tophat really only able to restore those memories or did he choose not to restore the ones relating to Regulus and such?

OoC @Salty: Tophat blurred the negative memories out because they contunied to disturb Erica.

"Man. Sounds like weve both lost more than anyone should ever have to. Still, I am glad that you recovered at least some of your memories. Everyone needs to have them. I find it helps deal with the hard times a little better. And every day you can add new ones to replace the lost ones. Even if nothing else works and they stay lost, just think of it that way." James stood from the edge of the shattered outcrop that he'd been sitting on and grinned at Erica.
"I think 'm going to go and scout the area for a bit. Listen, its been a real pleasure talking with you Erica, no matter how dark the subject was. If you want to do it again, you know my name, just give me a shout." With that he set off towards the trees.

OOC: And the laptop itself ate my post. Wonderful. Anyway, I'm off. Goodnight.

Tophat's body walked over to Makoto.
OoC: You still here @Gear?

Erica also stood up and nodded at James.
"Indeed. Thanks for the challanging talk." she smiled and waved james goodbye as he walked off.
"See you around!"
Once James was out of sight, Erica turned around to see if there was anyone else to talk to.

Tophat took back itself from Makoto, then turned and started walking towards the entrance of the ship.

Riou stops his practice. He breathed a bit heavily. "I never could master the secret techniques, unlike Nanami... Too bad. They were great." He puts away his tonfa and starts thinking back on his childhood. The good, the bad, and everything in-between.

 

[Chungus]

Erica sees Riou and walks over to him. "Hiya!" she said as she approached.

Reimu goes outside for a nice sit outside. She quenches her thirst with a mix of cranberry, dragonberry and sake.

OOC: Got in a nice refreshing Touhou 6 run. Now I feel satisfied for today. :3

"Huh? Oh, hello, Erica. How are you?" Riou shook his head like he was trying to shake out the day dreams.

"My back feels rather sore though." She added as she carefully rubbed her back with the tips of her fingers.
"But that's really not important.
How're you?"

"I'm fine. Just remembering things. Your back feels sore? Why?" Riou sees Reimu walking up. "Hello, how are you?"
