After 15 push-ups Daniel's arms were aching so he stood up. He walked over to his shirt and pulled it over his head before buckling his sword across his back. He then began the ascent out of the cave.
"I don't think so. I don't have any ears so I don't see how."
The body said as it picked up Tophat.
"Oh, and good morning."
It added with a small smile.
"If we ever find a way into the city, I'm sure we can find an abandoned clothing store there. Whter or not it'll still be intact is another matter altogether, though." Erica said as she picked out some dark-blue shorts and trew them on the bed. "I was smart enough to buy several items while we were in Elysium.
Me. Planning ahead. The world must be ending again." She added with a chuckle.
Reaching the top of the cave again, Daniel sat on an outcropping. He liked to just stop some times and look. The forest around the cave shifted with a light breeze, several of the bones by the cave cracked into each other. So I kind of just like not drawing attention to myself. Whatever my dad says its pretty differant here than where hes from. Try to stand up for anything here and you get smacked back down.
"Tee-hee! Same here.
Hence the 'the world must be ending again' comment." Erica remarked as she picked out a plain black shirt. "So, what have you been up to? Except for sleeping that is." She asked as she changed clothes.
Daniel could have spent most of the day simply sitting on the outcropping but descided against it. He had something to do. He leapt off his perch and landed, slight pain in his feet as he began his usual walk through the forest. He decided to count how many trees were to his right to pass the time. He only counted the ones close to him thought, because who could be bothered to count the amount of trees in a forest.
"Uhh... Who's Regulus again? I've heard that name several times now." Erica asked Tophat.
She had finished changing and folded her previous outfit up and stuffed it back in the closet. Then she sat down on the bed, some distance away from Tophat.
Being so close to it suddenly felt awkward now that the alien concept of love came into the picture.
"Fragments? What are you talking about? I thought Alicia and me were sisters.
And wasn't this 'Anger' chap the one you thought you were responsible for making that black spot appear in my necklace?" Erica asked with a confused tone.
"That I wasn't always human I knew already. But now you're telling me I wasn't even a spirit? Just a part of it?
That's ...pretty lame." Erica said with a tone that was more confused then anything else. She then shrugged and continued to say. "Oh well. That's all in the past. I'm human now!"
