Gerry was walking around, doing tricks with his knifes when he saw Athena. He watched her as he continued his tricks.

OOC @Outis: I've been wondering. The Nyx Grace worships, is that the same Nyx that will be in TDM?

Pretty much yeah. There is a whole mythos behind her that I may or may not have Grace go into.

"He mostly worked in the farm fields...he was drafted before he could learn a proper trade." Grace said, still looking down at her necklace.

I did mention that. She is just going to be the great mediator of the whole thing, being the ultimate power on the thread, but never taking a side. I don't plan on using her much, if at all.

4 BACKSTORY.

Grace gave a sigh as she sat back in her chair. "He was just 15 when he was drafted, the same age as me, but he was tall and strong for his age, so the soldiers did not care. He ended up being a great warrior, even rising through the ranks of Baron Lockland's army." she stared to explain. "Feel free to ask any questions you have." she added.

Erica stared at Riou in disbelief. Had he heard about her affliction, and was he saying this merely to draw her out of her shell?
If not, how could he speak about it in such a casual manner?

"The Bright Shield Rune is a True Rune, or specifically, an aspect of a True Rune. The Rune of Beginning. It has it's own purpose. Not only have I usurped that purpose, but I have denied it for 100 years. Now, since all my old comrades, are long dead, it is becoming quite difficult. And the Rune is starting to take it's toll on me as I continue to resist that purpose. If I don't fulfill that purpose, or at least find a way to usurp it, again, I will die." Riou explains to Erica.

Erica was silent for a while as she took in what Riou had said.
"I... see..." She eventually replied with a sadened tone.
"What is this purpose it wants you to fulfill?"
