"Well I am from almost two thousand years from the future. But I am from a somewhat backwards area. A zone called the Wilderness. The reason I use armour, instead of the mechs of the Earth empire, is that fuel and resources are quite scarce in the Wilderness."

<color=brown>"Sure thing we do. EMily prepares our meals from our era in time and transports them via the time machine into the ethereal plane for storage."

Sara's arm seems to disappear as she reaches into the plane to find foil wrapped sandwiches on a platter.

"Well the Mortal Kombat tournament serves a reason sort of.So you don't even want to hear about the fighters or anything.And I could easily break up this fight."Raiden also draws himself up to his full seven foot height

"So, the reason that you use badass power armour, is because its the cheapest and most basic wargear available? Holy shit, your world must be a hell of a place." James plucked at his tactical vest.
"This stuff is the standard issue gear in our world, was even before the pandemic. Don't get me wrong, it does what its supposed to, but still, power armour." He sighed theatrically. "A man can dream, I guess." Then he chuckled.

Makoto looked over at Sara and Riou. "Hey guys!" She stood up, head still spinning from the sheer number of times she had been introduced to the floor, and walked over. "You got some food?"

Erica stops and thinks for a while. Then flies into a giggling fit.
"Tee-hee! You forgot to mention that it's great fun!" Erica walks closer to Athena again and held the bottle up. "You want shome of this too?"

"It's not exactly cheap, but it doesn't require much after being created. The weapons that I and others from the Wilderness use are powerful enough to blow a man to bits. And the Diamond Sword is quite a large tribe, and spans over several worlds. The problem is that no planet is very hospitable, so there's not many who live on each world."

"I see. Well, that's good to know, but I thought she was coming here as well, at some point. What will happen when you're all here?" Riou asked Sara. "Hello, Makoto. You okay? I didn't know you used tonfa, too."
He sighs and looks at Raiden. "Fine, give me a summary."

She splits the sandwich in half and hands it to Makoto. <color=brown>"Well, when EMily gets here... our cat, Schrodinger, will be managing the time machine and cooking for us. He's got a mind the size of a human inside his head."

"Nice. We've got some pretty heavy weaponry in our world as well. Of course, most of it is disused now. A lot of it was lost when the armies of the world were taken by surprised and overwhelmed. We still use some of the old gear -for example, my pistol, submachine gun and sniper rifle are all pre-pandemic- but any new equipment that's developed is usually designed for as much accuracy as possible. The enemy don't wear armour unless they died in it, so we don't need any more stopping power than what it takes to pierce a human skull. I guess thats the one other good outcome of the virus. We've mostly stopped trying to kill each other for now."

Makoto took the sandwich and sat down. The food disappeared in seconds. "Thanks. I always like a snack after a fight. Though I think after that, I need to lie down more than anything else." She looked at Riou. "Well, don't really use them as tonfas. They just add a bit extra to my punches and let me pull off some special tricks."

"I see. Is your cat some sort of kobold? I know of the Nay-Kobold in the Island nations that look like cats rather than dogs." Riou asks Sara. He looks to Makoto. "I see. Where did you learn to use them?"
He looks to Raiden. "It doesn't sound very respectable..."
