"Laws are a poor substitute for rational thought. It is very easy to say 'this creature did something I do not like, and is against the law, so we simply must kill it.' But you don't make beasts obey laws, and you do not kill intelligent creatures without due thought or simply because they displease you." Grace replied.
Xu waves his hands in the air in defeat, "I don't know! They're somewhere in between! I'M LOST, I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO! WE'RE BOTH TO BLAME, EQUALLY, OKAY! SO FIND ME AND KILL ME, THEN!" he shouts.

"Then you can help the boy, Erica." Riou looks to Grace. "When I thought they were simply monsters, I left it up to the boy to handle them. He did nothing and they continued to act as they did before. Now, I know that they are responsible for their own actions, many of which would be considered crimes, if a human did them, and reasons to put down any animal, they must be held accountable. It's simple as that."
