We Are Our Avatars III (Ended!)

[Skrag The Summoner]

The Massive ship could be clearly seen, it was still several kilometers (1.6Km = 1Mile for anyone that didn't know) away but it could be clearly seen now. The Clockwork constructs could be seen repairing the deck of the ship as others maned turret mounted gatling guns and that of warships artillery, the ship was equipped for fighting but it looked as if it would fall apart at the slightest amount of damage.

 

[Chungus]

"Indeed. That could have turned out to be quite the disaster.
Anyway, next time you get up there, take it slow. As I said, become comfortable being inside that thing first.
If you feel yourself freaking out, close your eyes and take your time to calm down.
When you've gone past that stage, try making it move. The easy stuff like walking around, moving arms, et cettera." Erica said to Four, still looking up at the approaching ship.
"Err... What are those... things up there? Kinda looks mechanical..." She said as she saw the constructs.

 

[Saltyk]

"That thing that we don't have at all. Not that I ever counted on it. Always best to make your own luck." Riou replied with a grin.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Yeah, let's just hope we can make enough so that those things don't attack us." Rose said as she pointed up at the guns on the ship.

"I appreciate the advice, but I've got it under control...kinda. Believe it or not, I actually made some progress today, slight though it may be." Four said to Erica, not taking her eyes off the ship either. "They look like weird robots to me." She commented.

 

[Saltyk]

"Taking a look at that thing, I doubt they will attack us. It looks about ready to fall apart. So, I suspect we already have some luck." Riou says taking a look at the damage and the constructs repairing it.

 

[Chungus]

"Hey, every bit of progress is valluable right?" Erica said to Four, giving her a pat on the back as she did.
"...It's ...nice talking to you again.
[sub]We may not get another chance...[/sub]"

 

[Skrag The Summoner]

The ship loomed overhead, the sound of gears turning, pistons pumping and coal burning resounded throughout and out of the ship. The noise was somewhat annoying.

"What? you've found someone? well ready the gyrocopters i want too meet these people!"

 

[Drakmorg]

"Yeah, this is nice. We haven't been able to talk like this for a while now." Four said to Erica, giving her a smile. After a pause, she asked, "So, have the others made any progress in, you know, finding you a cure?"

"You're right. I'm sure if we give them whoever they are a warm welcome, they probably won't shoot at us." Rose said, having to shout slightly so Riou could hear her.

 

[Saltyk]

"Warm, but cautious, I would say. You're not wrong to be wary. As you said, they are armed." Riou shouts back, not entirely certain that Rose can hear him.

 

[Chungus]

"I'm not sure... I stupidly have been too busy feeling sorry for myself to help them with it.
How dumb is that? They stick their necks out for me, and I do nothing. Well, that's gonna change soon enough.
Just because I've accepted what's to come doesn't wait I have to sit around waiting for it!" Erica said, though it was more towards herself then to Four. "I must've seem pretty ungrateful.
....Deary me... The sound comming from that thing is annoying."

 

[Drakmorg]

Rose just nodded at Riou and looked up at the ship, waiting to see what would happen.

"That's the spirit!" Four shouted as she pat Erica on the back. Then she quickly recoiled, remembering what happened the last time she touched Erica's back. "Sorry! Sorry! Sorry!" She quickly apologized.

 

[Skrag The Summoner]

Several objects could be seen rising from the deck of the ship, they flew down towards the group. Most of them piloted by clockwork men almost 10ft tall

One was piloted by a dwarf.......

[Chungus]

"It's alright. I can't feel anything in that area anymore.
Wich is a pretty bad thing I supose, but it beats being in pain!" Erica shouted back, having trouble making herself heard over the sound of the roaring engines of the steam-powered airship.
"Who in the world build those things! The look mighty unpractical!" Erica said, seeing the gryrocopters flying towards them. I do hope they won't attack.

 

[Saltyk]

"Hello. Just who are you?" Riou asked the man sitting in one of the odd contraptions.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Well, at least there's a bright side." Four shouted to Erica, hoping she could hear her.

"Never seen anything like those before. They're kinda nifty!" Rose said, mostly to herself as she looked at the flying machines.

 

[Skrag The Summoner]

"Aye lad, I am Thar Bronzegear the dwarven master tinker. Your lads here seem quite odd, are you all from the same settlement or have you come together for some reas....." Thar responded to Riou in a thick scottish accent, his attention drawn to four's ship mid way through the sentence

"What is that?" he asked with a gleam in his eye

 

[Chungus]

Okay. They havn't attacked yet good.
I'm... just gonna stand back and let the others deal with it. Yeah. Erica thought, taking a few steps back as she did.

 

[Drakmorg]

Four heard what That had said and walked over. "That is my ship. Please don't ask me how it works, because I honestly don't know. I'm Four, by the way." She said to Thar.

 

[Saltyk]

"We've met up for our own reasons each. We have many different reasons to join up, but each trust one another and work together and support each other all the same, if that answers your question." Riou turns to see what the man was looking at, but wasn't too sure.

 

[Skrag The Summoner]

"Great to meet you lass" Thar said, taking four by the hand and shaking it with both hands, his eyes never leaving the ship. Soot covered Thar's thick gloves and there was a device attached to the right glove.

"Do you mind if i take a look myself?"

Thar seemingly ignored Riou's response. He was mesmerized with the ship.

Thar's clockwork bodyguard disembarked from the flying machines.
