Makoto gave Kefka a few more strokes, then stood and walked towards the white fire. "Ok, I think it's safe to say that's not natural."
"This probally isn't the work of one of those creatures from your universe, Xu." She said to him, er voice strangly determined I'm not unfamiliar with this kind of dark power... I won't falter again! She released Xu's hand and walked closer to the white flames, holding her pistol at the ready.
The building was almost completely reduced to ash, there was almost nothing salvageable from the remains. The building across the street from it, behind the group now, was suddenly engulfed in a massive white inferno from the inside out, and was now burning as well. An eerie giggling could be heard coming from inside the building as it burned to the ground.
Those examining the fire would find it to be incredibly hot, making them start to sweat profusely if they got so much as within a few meters of it. It was also obviously magical.

Makoto backed off when she began to feel hot. "Ok, I've had enough magically-induced heat for a while. Not getting near that." She whirled around as another biulding burst into flames. "Not good, not good! Whatever's doing this is nearby!"
James wiped his brow as he approached the blazing fires, and eventually had to stop. On hearing the giggling, he whirled around, scanning the opposite, newly enflamed building with his holo-sight.
"What the crispy fuck is going on here?" He snarled.
"Clearly the flames are magical, but again, this is unusual to me. I do not know if it is similar to the known magic in Mundus or Oblivion." AEanna said quietly, one hand empty and ready to raise a ward, the other a fistful of lightning.

"Against souls? I can probably hold my ground, but that's about it. Those ghosts up there are giving me a real headache, and I can't sense stuff more than twenty meters away."

"I am really not liking this..." Joe said as he whirled around to see the new burning house. "Hello?" He shouted over to it.
Gerry backed away from the newly burning building quickly and sat huddled on the ground, trembling violently.

I wanted to say last night that, although I thought the fight was pretty good, I felt like it went on longer than it needed to. Just felt like you should know.
Xu see's the fire from the new house, and jumps back in panic, landing onto one of the dead corpses. He see's the dead corpse with a gun, and jumps back up, screaming.
"AAAH! OH GOD, OH GOD, OH GOD!"
He grabs his gun, and shakily shoots the corpse with it once, causing him to fall down from the recoil. He lands on another corpse, with a pocket knife. He tries to get his bearings, and gets up. He picks up the knife, and holds it out in fear.
"WHO ARE YOU! WHAT ARE YOU!? WHY ARE YOU HERE!?" he said in a paniced tone, shakily letting lose whatever pokemon he could find, which, in this case, was Lodicolo, who looked around in shock.
Kefka see's Makoto panic, and jolts up, equally as panicked as he was for anything to attack her.
