Utterly spent, James slumped down behind one of the barricades that had been put up. Fumbling, he took out and lit a cigarette, placing it between his lips on the right side of his face. Some of the smoke spilled out between his teeth on the left side where the lips had been melted away.

Conall found himself in a lavish looking room. The walls and floor were made up of the same grey stone as the archway, but it was luxuriously decorated. There were rugs and tapestries that looked to have been spun from gold and silver, and a massive, incredibly regal looking bed in the middle of the room. The figure followed after Conall and appeared behind him. "This will be your room. You are free to stay here and do whatever you like. Is there anything you require? I have been instructed to do my best to help fulfill your every desire."

Makoto looked at Grace. The usual calming effect of the healing wasn't really doing much given her worries about Gerry. "This happened before?"

"He...has trouble with fire...I had thought he had moved past it but...it seems like he has had a relapse." Grace said as she finished healing Makoto and took Gerry into her arms.

It approached a section of wall and snapped its fingers. The stone seemed to come apart and shift to form a doorway, which closed again as the figure left the room.
