OOC: @Demon well for one i missed the character introduction for him so i had no idea, #2 i didn't know Dwemer were elves and #3 to justify that, Thar is usually to engrossed in the details of his work to take notice of people

"Not robots my lad, Clockwork constructs" Thar said with a small laugh

"The difference being that a robot usually is mass produced to the same standard where as each and every one of my clockwork masterpieces have a different design, to see what is the best method of creation"

"Of course. You will have to take care of her now though. Feeding, cleaning, making sure to move her to avoid bed-soars. But just ask if you ever need help with anything." Grace said as she continued to hug Four.

"Yeah, I know. This isn't the first time she's been like this, like I said. I know how to take care of her when she gets like this....I just wish I knew why it happens." Four said, keeping up her end of the hug as well.

Joe was quite puzzled by this. "Clockworks? Like gears and springs and stuff like that?" Joe's curiosity was peaked for sure, and it wasn't hard to notice that it was.

Grace simply pulled away from Four and nodded solemnly.

OOCJort Yes they are Dwemer are elves.If you were to pay attetion to all of the elven races you would see they have mer at the end of their name which means elf in elven.Also they are the most badass elves ever

"Yes my lad, its a system of gears and levers powered by a furnace and boiler to create pressure to power a turbine which moves the gears. Thats clockwork systems in a nutshell" Thar said, looking amused at Joe's sudden outburst of excitement

Four sighed as Grace pulled away and went back to looking down at Mia.

"But if it's just steam... then how does it think and do actions? Or even register commands unless there's a button or something. But that still leave the problem of how they do the actions. Or how they carry the water needed for the steam... water is kinda heavy... and it takes a lot to boil it... [sub]I'm confused...[/sub]" Joe had his little ramble as his hands twisted trying to point to the imaginary flow chart with all the different problems he was trying to piece together in his head.

"Its simple, i hate to admit it but the efficiency of these constructs have been improved with magic. A substance is formed inside the boiler and the furnace by a great metal monolith that is inscribed with master runes, Through this the constructs don't need to carry any of the fuel themselves. Now i have made a complex system of wires and receivers which link to a processor which interprets the commands into a series of electronic pulses, these pulses force the construct to make specific movements and actions and that is how they take action when issued a command"

"And thats simplifying it"

"I will leave you alone now." Grace said as she stood and went for the exit.

 

[Drakmorg]

"A-Alright. Goodnight." Four said to Grace, sounding a little uneasy with Grace's choice of words.

"[sub]That makes more sense...[/sub] Magic usually makes things a tad 'easier'." Joe said as he air quoted the easier.

"The Joes never built anything like this." Joe said with a sigh. "They would have really liked to take one of these apart just to see how it ticked, no offence." Joe said raising his hands and smiled.

Grace stopped. "...Is there something wrong?" she asked Four.

Gerry put his supplies away and kissed Asha. "[sub]That was for helping me feel better.[/sub]" he said with a smile as he cuddled with her.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Well, it's just, you said...alone." Four said, then awkwardly motioned to Mia.

Asha kissed Gerry back. "And that's for all the times you've helped me feel better!" She said, giving him an even bigger smile.

 

[Skrag The Summoner]

"Go ahead, i can always make more" Thar said, shrugging

"Unit 14 power down" Thar commanded

one of the Clockwork soldiers curled into a 6ft high ball and powered down

Gerry simply looked at Asha and kissed her again, this one being slightly more passionate and longer, but still very gentle.

"Oh, I am so sorry. How foolish of me..." Grace said, rather embarrassed by herself.

"It's huge..!" Joe looked up at the ball. Since he was only 4.5 feet he was rather... dwarfed by the mechanical marvel.

Joe then climbed onto the ball and started looking through it trying to crack the giant metal nut, he looked much like a child in a candy shop.

Asha kissed Gerry back just as passionately.

"I-It's fine...[sub][sub]I might as well be alone anyway...[/sub][/sub]" She said, mumbling the last part to herself.
