Xu shakes his head. "Why would you need it? Haven't you ended war yet? Hell, where are you from, anyway?"
He lets Nuzleaf out, and he looks to the sky, frozen in fear.
Riou walks out of the ship and sees Austin with the cube. Strange device. But why am I surprised, at this point?
OoC: @Rosh Of course I want to. But we're also having an audit today (can't remember if it is internal or external this time) and not being there could be problematic.
"For training. Officially, the war ended 76 years ago. Unofficially, we have been at war with each other for 75 years. The last year was... difficult, humans are fighting for their survival as a species, and yet we are still fighting ourselves."
Xu raised an eyebrow. "I honestly doubt that. Were I'm from, there hasn't been a war in over half a century. Albeit some peculiar events, Such as team aqua and Magma trying to summon legendary pokemon able to destroy the world, but those are solved like everything else is: A Pokemon battle."
Nuzleaf see's Thar fall, and begins to run over to him.
"Yeah I'm fine lads. Sometimes the gears get jammed and the entire rotor ends up crushing itself. It can be kinda annoying at first but when you strive to create new and interesting things there must be room for trial and error" Thar said, rubbing his back
"If there was, did you think we would be having a war?"
Winter finally exits the shower, and gets herself fully dressed. Four wouldn't understand. She can't understand... Running away doesn't solve problems. She will be a liability when we have to put down Conell. I know.
She stands out in the clearing, her eyes closed and facing the sun. Her arms crossed behind her back as she relaxes her breathing.
Xu sighs, "I never even really got the concept of 'war,' because its pretty pointless, in the end. A lose, lose scenario, no success in sight. Or at least, in a war of men."
Xu sighs, "People from whatever region your from do, but people from where I'm from don't, because we realize this truth. So, instead of wars, we do what everyone does, have Battles."
OoC: Was reading up, and @Gear was in another one of his moods...
Great.
"To feel the pain of death perhaps. To feel... whole again I guess. I may not like you that much, abit too abrasive for my likes, but I will protect this group. No matter the cost." She continues, with her eyes closed, facing the sun.
"Well once again. Lucky you. Our war is simply reality, integrated into our minds to constantly fight battles... Until the day we die." Austin continues chewing on his candy stick.
