OoC: @Random, Yeah, me too. I've been on this laptop since I've started. The only real problem was when my power went out, and my laptop decided to go 'Fuck you' and get itself infected with a virus that took 4 weeks to get cleaned out.

Daniel hadn't decided on a time frame for his actions and now that he was calmer he thought he might visit those at the ship again. He sets off from his cave.
Winter crossed her arms. "Very well then, now imagine that situation done at least 3500 times. Can you imagine? If one of us was captured, tortured to the point where he or she would attack this group. Can you do? Kill the one that you have fought with, lived with and enjoyed time with? And just before they die, you see it in their eyes that they realize what they have done?"
Winter raised an eyebrow, as Austin tossed over a thermos.
"Good. But why so hesitant? Hesitation will only lead to death. Yes, it is true that the suicidee's pains are gone, and those left are the ones that feel the most pain.... But what if every single time you took that life away, a part of you dies. Over 3500 children, never lived to see beyond their childhood. What more does another heartache for the group mean? Look at the list of the dead or those that left. What does another heartache mean Grace? Tell me..."

Daniel still wasn't sure to approach the ship when he arrived. He was no longer openly angry with them but the reason for his anger had been born of fear. Put simply he did not want to die and so hung back while he decided. The level of his terror was unbridled and his breath came faster and faster as he watched the ship. The pain he had suffered had been nearly unbearable and he was inexperienced at fighting both with a blade and as a dragon. In all honesty he had hoped to scare them off with terrifying roars and gouts of flame but that seemed to double their resolve. Scared, he was so scared. He tried to calm himself, the possibility of fighting them again did not agree with him, not until he was more experienced or had the desire to kill.
The thought of desiring unessacary death sickened him however and he refused to willingly destroy someone. The animals he ate were differant, he would die if he did not eat, it was natural. Murder was not natural however. Well....maybe natural to humans and their like.

So I recently got a fighting game on XBLA with an interesting plot device called the Skull Heart. Simply put, any woman who lays hands on it gets a wish. There is a major catch though. The Skull Heart is sentient and kinda a dick, so if the wish can be interpreted as being fueled by guilt, selfishness, greed, hatred, or really any negative emotion even the slightest bit, the Skull Heart will jump at the chance and though the wish will be granted, the person using it will be turned into the next Skullgirl. The Skullgirl is given immense power, but is doomed to guard the Skull Heart, and though she retains some semblence of free will and awareness, she will be forced to kill anyone that stays near her for too long. The speed of the transformation depends on how selfish the wish was, but in any case, t's painful.
Winter's eyes start tearing up. "Yes... And I remember all of their names. Jacob, Tyler, Brian, Samantha, Claire, Ricarla, Kenneth, Natsuru, Aalam, Abia..." She continues listing names, as her voice continuously gets lower and lower.
"... It doesn't matter now." she stops listing, as tears start falling from her face.

OOC: No, he was the dragon that they fough originally. Drak just misunderstood me when I said he was a Golden Dragon. In the Witcher, a Golden Dragon can assume any form and see the future. Daniel or Daesannanven as his father named him is like his sister Saesenthesis in that he isn't a true Golden Dragon. His scales are brown, he can only assume one form and he can't see the future.
OOC: I see. The Witcher himself, Geralt, is one of those Golden Dragons as well, is he? Also, has Daniel's motivation for attacking the first time been revealed, or is that still under wraps?

Grace gave a small sigh as she approached Winter and placed her hands on her shoulders. "Let out you tears. Release some of the despair inside you." she said softly.
OOC: @Berk, No Geralt is a Witcher but he comes across a Golden Dragon called Villentretenmerth or Borch Three Jackdaws as he calls himself in the first game and he comes across Saesenthessis in The Witcher 2, who is a daughter of Borch Three Jackdaws. Daniel is a semi OC I came up with when thinking of what a Dragon would be like in the modern era so I made Daniel, a non-canon son of Borch Three Jackdaws left in this world (It explains dimensions in the Witcher). As for reasons, its semi clear but not transparent I'm going to build on it some more.
