AEanna remembered putting the book down in the same place where she had healed Gerry and Erica, and went back to check. Sure enough, it was there, and after picking it up and closing the cover, she began to head up the gangway into the ship as well.

Four relented again and uncrossed her arms to hug Gerry and Makoto back. "I'm not sure that it'll help, but you can come along if you want to." She said to Makoto. She let go and headed back to the ship.

They could see a gray underside, and a cover covered in red, segmented plates of thick skin, spikes that run along the sides of its head, body, and tail, four claws on each hand, three claws on each foot, and four dozer-like blades on the end of its large tail, blue stripes in the seams of its skin.
