The crow turned to face Tophat, it's eyes seething with rage. It let out a ferocious sound, something of a mix between a screech and a howl. However, because it was trapped in the knife, all it could do was seethe in its anger as it glared at Tophat.
Tophat would find that the taint was the possible source of the crow's rage. It seemed to wrap around the crow like a blanket made of thorns, poking and prodding the crow with the apparent purpose of keeping it enraged at all times.
