"There's two of them, if you count the one Xu has.
It let me ride on its back. It was awesome!" Erica said with a bright smile. "And I've put James in his place. Gave him the shoutdown of a lifetime.
Serves him right, the condescending pillock.
So I suppose it hasn't been all bad. Now I just gotta deal with Athena...
Still haven't decided on how to handle that. I don't just wanna waltz over to her being enraged."

Four rolled her eyes upon hearing that Xu had a dragon. "Well it really puts me at ease knowing that one of those dragons is under the 'control' of that Xu kid." She said, her voice dripping with sarcrasm while she made air quotes around the word 'control'.
"Geez, James must have said something pretty nasty to deserve that kind of scorn form you. And yeah, in my experience just stomping up to someone and confronting them when you're full of rage rarely ever works out entirely well."

 

[Chungus]

Erica giggled seeing Four's responce to the news that Xu had a dragon. "Well, Xu has gone home for the time being, so no need to be afraid of him blowing up your ship or anything.
Of course, chances are that when he comes back, he'll have a even bigger beastie to mess around with.
As for James. Bah!
He had the nerve to look down on me when I raised my weapon against Mithas in order to avoid unnecessary bloodshed. Even dared to call me 'disappointing'.
And what did he do? Point his gun at Joe! Not even aiming to disable as I would've done, no, he would've killed him!" She said, her voice once again flaring up with anger.
"So I told him what I thought of him right in his face. He didn't know what hit him!"

Daniel had not slept. He sat by the ATM in his cave with eyes sunken with sleep deprevation. Acceptance is a rwo way street? She was right. He was a coward. The only reason he took this stance on the matter was because he didn't want to die.

"That really doesn't make me feel any better. Now I'm just imagining all sorts of terrible things that are bigger than dragons that he could possibly come back with." Four said, shuddering as an image of Xu with some sort of massive tentacle beast popped into her head. "Wow, really? James tried to kill Joe? And he seemed like such a nice guy too..." Four said, solemnly looking up at the sky.

 

[Chungus]

Seeing Four shudder, Erica pat her on the head. "Hey, it's alright. I'm sure he'll bring back a cute little kittie next time, or something." She said, chuckling.
"And yeah. James tried to kill Joe.
I'm not sure just what went down, but I think Joe was being mindcontrolled, or something.
Were it not for Tophat interfering in time, Joe would be dead now.
[sub]...The whole thing reminded me all too much of what Grace did..."[/sub] She said, saying the last part under her breath.

Four seemed to enjoy getting pat on the head. "Hopefully...but I doubt it. From what I've seen, he just keeps finding bigger and nastier ones." She said.
"Oh, Joe was being controlled? Well thank whatever-God-I-believe-in that Tophat was there. That whole thing just sounded like frankly an awful situation." Four gave Erica a hug after hearing what she said under her breath.

Daniel sighed. Maybe he should just sleep for a century and wait it out, hope people are more compassionate when he awoke. No, inaction was what he had done for 18 years and so he swallowed his nervousness and began climbing out of his cave.

 

[Chungus]

Erica curled up her legs and leaned against Four, then returned her hug.
"It... wasn't nice to look at, that's for sure."
Erica sighed as she tried to put the thoughts of herself dying at the hands of a friend aside. "Now we're on this subject... What do you propose I do about Athena.
I don't think I even have it in me to kill her should it come to that..."

"That's a tough one. I don't expect her to show any remorse over what she's done. Hell, she probably won't even own up to being ultimately responsible for what happened. But of course, I don't know what you should do. I tried to just get her to leave, but for some weird reason she seems strangely adamant about wanting to stick around. I suggest you confront her, try and remain calm, tell her what you think and how you feel, and see how she reacts." Four said to Erica as she pat her on the back.

 

[Chungus]

"I have a idea pretty good idea on how she'll react.
'I did what I was right. I have no reason to appolagise. Your blood is not on my hands.' Blah, blah, blah.
Wouldn't supprise me if she used something I told her in confidence against me either." Erica said as she rubbed up against Four's side, staring at the night sky as she did.

"Probably. But who knows, maybe she might surprise us both by apologizing. Hell, she might even act like a real human being and show some actual emotion too." Four said. "And then maybe..." She started to add, then she realized she couldn't think of something incredibly ridiculous to lampoon what she had just said that didn't actually have a decent chance of happening.
Maybe it'll hail ice cream? No, it's already rained chocolate milk a couple times, ice cream coming from the sky wouldn't be all that surprising honestly...
She started to scratch her chin in thought with one hand, keeping the other wrapped around Erica's shoulders.

Night was a perfect time to hunt. It was hard for those on the ground to see him in the nights sky. Daniel closed his eyes and flashed, appearing moments later as a hulking dragon which took to the sky.

 

[Chungus]

"She'll act like a real human being? Yeah, and the League of Subtlety is gonna trow a party in our name.
Seriously, she doesn't want to have fun. What kind of sad person refuses to have fun? What's the point of life if not for that?"

 

[Drakmorg]

"Really? You'd think she'd loosen up a little, especially considering that she now has nothing better to do than hang around us for no reason and swing that stick of hers around all day. Hmm...maybe she isn't a person. Maybe's she just a robot made to look like her or something." Four pondered, still scratching her chin.

 

[Chungus]

"Yeah, that's what I said. She said that she doesn't wanna have fun because it's trivial, or something along those lines.
When I pointed out that enjoyment is the only thing that makes life worth living, she said she wasn't like everybody else." Erica said, then chuckled in responce to Four. "I don't think she's a robot, though. Robots don't bleed."

Daniel soared low, scanning for anything. What animals could see him would flee and those that heard him did so as well. Gone were cumbersome cows, predictable deer and any other easy prey. Daniel had this problem before. Despite being born here this world could not cope with a superior apex predator that was dominant wherever it went. Ecosytems would shirk back after a few days hunting, hiding in the shadows until he moved on. He snarled in frustration as he continued to search for prey/

 

[Drakmorg]

"Sounds like she's just determined to go through life sad and miserable. Almost makes me feel a tiny bit sorry for her. Almost." Four said. She let out a massive yawn and pat Erica on the back again. Then she stood up and said, "Well I'm tired. Nice talking to you again with Erica. Good luck with confronting Athena, maybe, I guess. G'night!" Then Four walked into the ship, made her way to her room, fell over onto her bed, and almost immediately fell asleep.

OOC: I can barely keep my eyes open any longer, so I'm going to bed. See you gents later!

"Good night Four!" Erica said as she waved Four goodbye, then look back up at the stars.
