"I see."
Erica watched Grace eat an apple and made a mental note that apples are edible. "Speaking of reading, Thar helped me get around the problem of me not being able to!" She cheerily said as she pulled out the device Thar had given her out of her pocket. "I just need to hold this thing next to some letters, and it will read for me!
How cool is that!"
OoC @Gear: NO! I object to that for no reason what so ever! /JK.
Go ahead.
"Yeah!" Erica said as she placed the device on a table and sat down. "He was acting rather wierd when I gave him a hug, though. Dunno what that was about.
Anyways, we haven't talked in a while. How have you been?"
Erica tilted her head and cocked an eyebrow. "Really? You don't sound fine.
You usually give answers that are more then three words long.
What's up? Something Athena said?" She queried.
"...Everything Athena has said. I am not sure if I can stand to be around her for much longer." Grace said, tossing the apple core in the trash angrily.
Erica sighed softly. "I know exactly what you mean.
Wanna talk about it? You might feel better getting it off your chest." "Hey, Makotto." She said, giving Makoto a small wave.
"Hello Makoto." Grace said to the squirrel girl as she entered the room. "If you feel the same way, I am not sure we need to talk about it." she said to Erica.
Makoto returned Erica's wave, then turned to Grace. "Huh? Look, I don't really know what's going on here, but if something's getting to you, you need to talk about it."
"I'm not offering to talk about it because I wanna understand, I'm offering because it might make you feel better ranting about it." Erica said, placing her hands behind the back of her head and leaning back in her chair. "What did I tell you about keeping your emotions bottled up?"
