@Trilby. Dark matter has no electric charge on it. It is pure mass. The electrons around the atom contain negative electric charge. But since dark matter has no electric charge, it will neither be deflected or attracted to the electrons around the atom. Since it has no charge, it will not interact electromagnetically. Meaning it is purely invisible and does not emit any EM radiation of any kind. Lastly dark matter is its own antimatter particle. Which is why I always imagine Gwen is sending out a cloud of loose dark matter particles and then condensing them with a singularity to make it detonate.
