The brain sits on top of the tank, waiting for either Grace and Erica to fall off their chairs or the tank to do something.

Erica swallows the bite she took, and almost imediately dropped the rest of the pancake she was holding. This was unlike anything she had ever tasted... and not in a good way.
Her stomach began hurting, eventhough the 'food' hadn't even reached her stomach yet.
"Uggh.... What's happe---BLAAGRG!!" Before Erica could finish her sentance, she violently trew up over the table she was sitting at.

Sable returns to the portal chamber. He takes an explosive flask from nearby, opens a portal into the ship, right where the table people are eating pancakes at, and throws the potion through, closing the portal immediately after.
