I said magic to be cheeky! Anyway, saying that there is no need to research medicine is wrong, because not everyone can use magic, and, like I have established before, having an understanding of medicine helps you heal people better.

Anyway, anyway, Grace has the ability to scan blood with magic and determine what type it is. The term -B might not mean anything to her, but she can recognize that the two types of blood are the same (I imagine all blood types having different colors) so that's how she was able to tell.
