ooc: Onyx is like Sable in one way: they are both fiercely protective of Castlewood, albeit Sable protect it through defense, and Onyx does it through attack.

AEanna went to Erica and the Mason sisters, slowly, as if in a dream.
"Is it true?" She asked, her voice hoarse with urgency. "Can we be certain that it is truly Regulus?"

"What's this about liberation of a stronghold?" He asked to the congregation in general.

Onyx has mixed feelings about Regulus's statement, on one hand glad that his castle is no longer in jeopardy, but annoyed at him insulting it. He decides to not press the issue and instead turns to Valentine "You do not understand. I have no contact with that weakling Sable, as I have locked his spirit away, and he shall never again rise from his prison. So tell me, how have I 'sealed our fates'?"
