OoC: So I was wondering, if you were to assign an elemental to your characters what wold it be? I'll suggest the following elementals: Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Lightning, Darkness, Light.
I would suggest using any elemental powers your character has as a primary indicator. If they don't have any, then base it on personality.
As I see them, my own characters are the following.
Jio = Darkness.
Jin = Fire
Ikaros = Wind
Athena = Water
Medea = Earth
Bellerophon = Darkness
Deliverence = Lightning
Riou = Light
Jowy = Darkness
Luca = Fire

Fire type personalities would be brave, fearless, and full of passion. They tend to lead the charge. However, they would also be prone to anger and hatred as well.
Water type personalities would be kind, gentle, and empathetic. However, they would also be prone to taking things personally and would be hurt more than most from emotional attacks and terrible events in their past.
Earth type personalities would be steadfast and supportive, the last to fall, the first to stand. However, they would also be prone to stubbornness, and could be fairly pigheaded. Very difficult to change their opinions or sway.
Wind type personalities would be joyful and jovial, full of laughter. The life of the party and the one who will make people smile. They tend to think outside the box. However, a potential negative trait would treating everything as trivial and unimportant.
Lightning type personalities would be focused, quick-witted, intelligent and resourceful. However, they can also become easily obsessed and refuse to acknowledge anything but their own concerns and desires.
Darkness type personalities are unemotional, cold calculating. They tend to look at things from every angle and understand the situation. That can also make them anti-social, loners who shun attention and hate people.
Light type personalities tend to hopeful and optimistic. They can see what fate holds, but tend to fight to make things better. However, they can be so blinded by that hope that they fail to accept the truth of defeat even when stares them in the face.
Yeah, I'm making these up from my own mind. I didn't get them from anything. I doubt I could recreate this a second time. Doing this mostly as a guideline for those without much of an elemental based power.

OOC: @Saltyk AEanna would be pure water by that chart. Dromaeus would probably have been mostly fire, though he displayed a lot of the negative traits of earth. James would be fire, with a certain degree of earth as well.
