"Of course. I could go into it more...but it's actually really complicated." Rose said to Riou.
Asha held a finger to her mouthed and 'shushed' at Riou and Rose as they came in. [small]"Geremiah is sleeping! Keep quiet."[/small] She said to both of them. [small]"Nice to see you again...uh, nice guy. I'm drawing Geremiah while he is asleep."[/small] She said to Riou, a little embarrassed about having not caught his name before.

Grace went to bed and fell asleep.

Gerry stirred slightly, but stayed asleep.

OOC: Going to bed. Goodnight.

"[sub]Maybe later, then?[/sub]" Riou said to Rose.
"[sub]I'm sorry. My name's Riou. I guess I didn't mention that before. How are you feeling?[/sub]" He asked Asha, completely forgetting that he hadn't introduced himself before.

Rose shrugged at Riou. [small]"If you want. It'll probably take some lessons on biology and universal physics though."[/small] She said to Riou, completely straight-faced.

[small]"Well nice to meet you Riou! I'm feeling better. Being around Geremiah really helps take my mind off the bad things."[/small] Asha said with a smile.

 

[Saltyk]

"[sub]Well, I'm pretty sure I understand biology, but now you have me wondering how this all works out.[/sub]" Riou replied to Rose.
He looks back at Asha. "[sub]Nice to finally, get a chance to talk to you, Asha.[/sub]" He smiles. "[sub]I see. So you-[/sub]" He steals a quick look back at Rose, deciding to phrase it a little differently, "[sub]-Care for Gerry?[/sub]"

[small]"Well, maybe human biology...anyway, right now I'm just trying to figure out in my head how much time you'll probably need to process it all."[/small] Rose said with a small chuckle.

[small]"Oh yes! Very much! He's one of the first people outside of my family to really be nice to me. And it's nice to really talk to you to!"[/small] Asha said to Riou in an enthusiastic, but stil hushed tone.

OOC: Im back, lurking though.
The fancy dinner is on monday, a couple of my friends are taking me out to a comedy show for my birthday. it will (hopefully) be fun

Riou looks at Rose a little confused. "[sub]You don't look so different from humans, to me. Maybe you're like an elf, in slight differences, though.[/sub]"
Looking back to Asha. "[sub]Well, that's good. You should have someone special to you. Be it your family or a lo- person you care for.[/sub]" Riou said to her with a smile. He had caught himself from saying 'loved one' for fear it might cause another headache in Rose.

Rose quietly giggled to herself. [small]"Oh there's some ways in which Cat People are more than slightly different from humans. But you'll see, if you're still interested that is."[/small]

Asha seemed slightly confused by Riou's wording. [small]"But my family is made up of people I care for."[/small] She said, cocking her head to one side.

@Jort: Well I hope you have fun with that too.

Riou glances over at Rose. "[sub]Now, I must admit that you have got me curious.[/sub]"
Returning his gaze back to Asha, he tries to clarify his meaning. "[sub]No. That's not quite what I meant. I think I failed to explain that properly.[/sub]" He tries to think of the best way to explain it. "[sub]I was referring to people that are like family, that you care for as though they were family despite a lack of blood relation. Does that make sense?[/sub]"

OoC: @Jort Yeah, I hope it's all good and enjoyable. I think I'll skip my Birthday this year (and every year following it).

Rose and Asha both started to yawn.
[small]"Tomorrow then, if we get a chance."[/small] Rose said. She walked over to her bed and sat down next to Asha.
[small]"Yeah, I get what you mean now."[/small] Asha said. She put the finishing touches on her drawing, but didn't feel like showing it off immediately, and unceremoniously closed her sketchbook and put away her supplies.
Once Asha's art supplies were all put away, Rose gave her a hug.

 

[Saltyk]

"[sub]Okay, then. I can take a hint. I'll leave you two to go to sleep. I'll see you both tomorrow. Good night.[/sub]" Riou smiles at the girls and walks out the door closing it behind him. He goes to find a place to sleep.

Rose and Asha both said goodnight to Riou as he left. Asha climbed into bed with Gerry, and Rose got into her bed alone. They both shortly fell asleep.

OoC: I'm back.

Erica woke up, she had quietly cried herself to sleep the day before. Wanting some fresh air, Erica walked outside, passing the gun wich Scarlet used to shoot Xu. She shudder, even nearly trew up at the sight of it.
Picking up the pace, Erica walked away from the ship the a bench and sat down with a thud, breathing heavily.

Tophat walked over to Erica and sat down next to her.

"Hey..." Erica simply said when Tophat sat down next to her.

Erica sighed. "Pretty darn down."

"You and me both... I had him, I was so close!"
Tophat looked frustrated.

 

[Chungus]

"He... would've never died if it weren't for me...
I shouldn't have been there..." Erica said as she clenched her fists. "I wanted to save him... so for once I wanted to stand my ground and not run...
Look what it brought... I'm noting but dead weight. Whenever I try to 'help' things always only end up worse..."
