Grace considered telling Sara that, by simply using any of her magic, she was proving the existence of her goddess, but decided against it. "Then...Then there is only one other option. I cannot stand to be in the same place as she, so either she leaves and does not come back...or I shall leave." Grace said.

So long as she doesn't become an agent of evil afterwards that then condemns us. And perhaps I should have clarified on that other note. If you showed me magic that you claimed was connected to a god (which you have), what proof could I detect there that it came from some divine entity? There is none, because the proof is intangible in every way, as gods are supposed to be. Which is why gods and goddesses alike are out of the realm of science. A god is supposed to be something that is untestable no matter what there is."
Erica chuckled also. "Anyways, I'll go help Tophat find his stuff now.

Valentine spins her claw and rams it right into Regulus. a few black sparks flew of the claw as it made contact.

"I doubt those villains would really take an interest in Gerry and I if we were to leave." Grace said. "And...even if they did, I feel rather confident we could hold our own.
"That would be nice, yes.
Being in a corpse-littered city has made me more used to the smell of death, but being close to a torring corpse still grosses me out." Erica said as she looked around.
She saw the body she was looking for in the distance and walked towards it, looking at the ground as she did. The decaying body was not a pleasant sight.

Anger made no effort to try and doge Valentine's attack. The swipe connected and Anger was trown back slightly.
"Too slow. I could hath evaded that attack with little effort.
Sacrificing speed for the sake of power oft is a poor tactic.

Anyone in this group could be considered valuable to them. We once encountered an enemy called the Chaos Marines that took in anyone they could come across. Even common citizens. And Regulus has had the ability to sway and taunt many minds. Many of those villains are powerful. And I think that everyone here would miss you if you did leave. You're a valuable friend, Grace."

She approached the corpse and held a hand infront of her eyes to avoid looking at it too much.
With her feet, Erica moved the weapons away from the corpe's hands before picking them up.
"That's that done. Now for the really unpleasant part!"
Erica closed her eyes and felt inside the pockets of the corpe's trousers, looking for the Ipod. She fished it out and wiped the maggots off of it. "Eeeeeewww!!!"

Almost in the blink of an eye, Anger channeled its own dark energy into its talons, forming its energy claw. It raised its claw and parried Valentine's attack.
"That was better, but too slow still."
She approached the corpse and held a hand infront of her eyes to avoid looking at it too much.
With her feet, Erica moved the weapons away from the corpe's hands before picking them up.

<color=brown>"I'm trying to calculate the possibility of the villains swaying Athena to their side if she did leave. I just have a feeling they'll want to get their hands on her, considering her past. For right now, I would rather see you two be separated at a distance. Athena may be B-I-T-C-H, but separation for right now I think would be the most effective option considering the circumstances around us. Sometimes, you may have to work with someone who may be a complete and total jerk. And if that happens you take that up with your boss who will separate the two of you so you won't agitate one another."
"Hmm...Athena only does what she thinks is right, so I doubt she would join with that group either." Grace said.
Valentine bounced back after the attack.

A small fire vortex wrapped around the claw, Valentine dashed forward once more and drove her claw at Regulus with all of her might.
