Rose sighed and gave in to Winter. "Fine. I don't have much of a future...because I have to focus on the past, basically." She said to Winter, realizing that she sounded cryptic, but couldn't do anything about it.

Four was too focused on getting food to pay attention to Winter and Austin waving at her.

"Well why can't you do both? Manage both a past and a future? Somethings the things in the past are the keys to the future."

Austin's stomach growled, as he realized he didn't eat anything. So he proceeded to the kitchen to make a sandwich.

Sniper returned to his room, then asked for a new room. When he had received at new one, he started bringing his stuff in. He also told Shannon to do the same.

Gerry continued to look at Rose sadly as he hugged her.

Jowy was sitting in the kitchen.

Austin looked over at Jowy. "Whoops. Didn't see you there... Jowy, right?" he continued making the sandwich.

 

[Saltyk]

"Yes, that's my name. I think I've heard you called Austin. Correct?" Jowy says, without looking at him.

"Yuup. That's me." He finished making the sandwich and went about cleaning up after himself before taking a bite.

 

[Saltyk]

He seems kinda childish. Jowy sits in the chair, but notices Austin eating a sandwich. "I take it you're hungry."

"It's not like that...I don't know how to explain it without just telling you. I have to focus on the past. And not even just my past...see, it's hard to talk about without actually being able to tell you how things are." Rose said to Winter. She didn't try to push Gerry away again, but she didn't try to hug him back at all.

Four found some leftovers of some kind in the fridge and started to eat them without actually caring what they were.

Shannon nodded and grabbed the small bag of things that she didn't carry on her jacket and followed after Sniper.

Winter hugged Rose as along with Gerry.

"I see... Even though you have to focus alot on the past, it doesn't mean that you don't have a future. The future is what you make it. Everything is always changing, things happening and people will live on... I think you do have a bright future ahead of you, and you being in the dumps just dims that future alittle. Relax, things in the past are in the past, they can no longer be changed."

"Of course. I wouldn't be eating something if I wasn't hungry." he takes a bite. "Hey... Aren't you Riou's friend? Where is that guy anyways?"

Gerry continued to hug Rose.

Sniper found a broken vending machine and got out a pack of cards, then offered to play poker with Shannon.

"Yes, I'm his friend. We've been friends since we were young." Jowy replies. "I think he is outside. I was simply enjoying some wine to relax."

"I see." Austin continues munching on his sandwich. "You're another one of those Rune users right? What's that whole deal about 'Stars Of Destiny' stuff? I overheard it from Riou and you at times."

 

[Saltyk]

"Are you referring to Runes or True Runes? I was chosen by a True Rune, though I do also use some other Runes to supplement my abilities." Jowy replied, before he switched his tone to begin this explanation.
"The 'Stars of Destiny' are sort of a chosen few. They are the people that can change Destiny itself. Maybe."

 

[Drakmorg]

"It's not really changing the past that's an issue..." Rose said with a sigh. "I think I just need some time to myself to think about what everyone's said recently."

Four just kept sitting near Jowy and Austin, not really paying attention to what they were saying.

Shannon shrugged at Sniper and said, "Sure, what are we gonna bet though?"

Sniper held up the case of diamonds.

Gerry let go of Rose, saying that he hoped she felt better soon. He went into the kitchen and crawled into Four's lap.

Austin shrugged. "'Change Destiny'?... Ehh, I just live to whatever is happening now and in the near future. When it comes to mission time, its 'Loyalty to the End', whether it be to allies or the objective."

Winter nodded at Rose and let her go. Her stomach growled as well, so she headed off to the kitchen as well to find Austin munching on a sandwich.

"What? You didn't make one for me?"
"UUuuhhh yeah..." Winter groaned, rubbing her temples as she went to make herself a sandwich.

Winter noticed Four kinda staring out into space. "Uh hello? Four, you there?"

Rose wandered off to the bridge to think for a while.

Four was shaken back into reality by Gerry suddenly climbing up on her lap. "Uh...is something up Ger?" She uneasily asked him. "Hmm? Oh, Winter. Yeah, I'm fine. What's going on?"

Shannon shrugged again. "Hey, if you're eager to lose your share that fast."

"Loyalty, huh?" Jowy simply said the word, and nothing more. "You have a pretty simple sense of what to do. It's refreshing in some ways."
