OoC: @Drak I'm willing to accept that he is able to create things, but he certainly isn't smart based on his actions. There's a difference.
@Silver He hates his own mother? I... Yeah, that's pretty screwed up. I don't know anything she has done to him to harm him. And literally every bad thing that has happened to him has been caused by Joel. Even if Joel can force people to trust him, I find it hard to believe that would trump people he actually cares about and should love.
And I think he was conscious... maybe. And watching someone cut off your mother's arm, love her or hate her, wouldn't be something you'd forget. Either because it is horrifying or something he'd relish.

@Salty: Exactly, he's got absolutely no common sense. To put it in D&D terms, he has a high intelligence, but almost no wisdom. Also his Wisdom score would be incredibly low because he has almost no willpower, he didn't even put up the slightest bit of a fight when Joel was messing with his head. Actually he wouldn't even have a high Intelligence score, since that governs reasoning, which Conall is terrible at.

OoC: @Tribly I must have been out, either with friends, work, or doing chores at that time, though I vaguely remember it getting referenced. Still, that really only makes me dislike him more. I will tell my mother she is wrong and disagree with her, but the things that Conall has done are reprehensible on all levels.

Also, I've been thinking about it, Conall would make a terrible D&D character. He doesn't have decent strength, constitution, intelligence, wisdom, or charisma, and his dexterity is only above average because he's a cat. Re-roll IMHO.
