"Here." Grace said as she quickly took the radio and surrounded it in a barrier, causing it to hover in the air.

"Huh? Who is this? What do you want to talk about?"

If it's a radio in a barrier, how can anyone use it?
Either Grace is always holding down the transmit button, meaning they can't hear the other person, or she isn't, meaning they're just talking at it.
Also, @Outis, what time period is Grace from?
