Grace nodded to herself and went to get Gerry. She carefully woke him and explained to him the situation as she led him outside.

OoC: @Nail So, about 600 miles/1000 Kilometers from where we were and kind leaving Athena behind. /sigh Guess that little plot point can wait for a bit.

Winter turned to Riou. "We are scouting ahead. We need better info about the city and the enemies here."

OOC: I think we are outside of the city, so unless she can find a very tall tree...

Grace walked up with Gerry. "Winter, I would like to send Gerry with you. Will that be a problem?" she asked.

This mental link, or whatever it is, is quite useful. It means I can talk to you as ordinary, even if my telepathic skills don't let me.

Dio nodded to Austin.
"But be confident in the equipment you have. I have yet to see a hand-held weapon that can penetrate my armour with one shot."

"Well, that can be problematic. One can't simply run around. And I've only known the best ninja to be able to avoid detection by enemy in such a situation. And even then, they prefer to work alone. Much easier to remain undetected, if there are fewer people to detect." Riou said of the idea.

Four woke up in the Captain's chair in the bridge. "Well, at least whoever built this thing did one thing right when it came to seating." She said to herself as she noticed her back wasn't hurting. She looked out the window for a few moments before heading outside.

Austin shrugged at Dio. Winter looked at Riou and smiled. "That's why we'll split up into two groups or more."

She turned to Grace. "Nope that's fine. Come along Gerry."

"Alright, so how shall we break these groups to..."

Erica sat down and looked at the lake. Yeah, that's really a tiny bit of good luck.
Think about how much it would suck if you weren't able to talk to anyone!

Makoto ran in the ship, throwing on her beret and overcoat, then ran out again. She climbed on top of Four's ship, and sat down with some binoculars, a flaregun and her bag of nuts.

Winter shook her head at Maka and Soul. "Bad idea. With those flying machines around, they'll easily spot you. With the city being slightly destroyed, we'll blend in with the debris."

"Good." Grace said before kneeling down next to Gerry. "Stay vigilant and stay safe." she said to him quietly as she hugged him tightly. He returned her hug, then walked over to Winter, standing very close to her as he took out his knife.

"I think flying around would draw a lot of attention." Grace commented about Maka and Soul's plan.

"I'm not sure flying would be a good idea. There's no place to hide in the sky, those flying machines will be sure to find you and sound the alarm." Erica said to Maka and Soul.

Makoto could see several fairly large bipedal, unmaned armours patroling the city. No civilians were out in the streets.

"You're gonna send out TWO groups to scout?" Riou said, a little surprised. "I think that is a bad idea. The larger the group, the more likely they will be spotted. Especially if they have to move." This has bad idea written all over it.

I am able to talk to the one I'm sitting on, though only just. But yeah! Not sure how it formed, but I'm all for it!
