Winter crouched down to Gerry. "I'm going alone, ok? Watch out for everybody here, especially Four and Asha." She quickly hugged Gerry before getting back up.

Winter looked into the city, taking a deep breathe. Her legs bent alittle as she held her pistol and CQC knife out.

"Commencing Scouting... Now." With that she took off into the city, using cover at every available way. Her sneaking suit also helped with not being spotted.

"So we aren't just going to run in and shoot the place up, or just wait for the enemies to show up and attack us?" Four said to Makoto.
Interesting change of pace if that's true.

"But it also increases the amount of information that can be gathered. Two sets of eyes and ears is better than one." Grace replied. She stopped when she saw Winter leave. "Never mind I suppose." she said. Gerry let out a small sigh of relief.

"Think there's people in there. I was all for rushing in to get em, but Grace pointed out that we don't know how strong these guys are, and if we do anything rash, it could endanger the civvies, so we're taking this one slow."

Actually, I'd settle for any Sword... Even a technichian one.
OoC: A Sword is basically a squad.

As Winter moved through the city, she could see some dead bodies on the stread, laying face down with fairly large scorch marks on their backs. They had probally been shot while they attempted to flee.
As Makoto had said, some building were in ruins and set aflame.
The Magitek armours that patrolled the streets were oblivious to her pressence for now. She could see that the armours in question were the same models the group had faced several days ago.
Every once in a while three armours would meet with one with a darker paint job before resuming their patrol.

OoC @Outis: Wouldn't Gerry freak out because of the fire?

"Think of it this way, Grace. What would happen to Gerry if he was captured? Winter probably wouldn't break or reveal much information and probably has training to deal with that, but what about him? Would you really want to risk that? For his own safety and well being, as well." Riou replied watching Winter leave

OoC: @Rosh Yeah, been a while since I played any of them. I knew they seemed familiar, but wasn't sure.
@Outis Understandable, but I feel I'm making valid points that are also within Riou's character to point out, as I'm playing him.

Winter crouched behind some rubble, eyeing the bodies alittle before disregarding them. She spotted out the Magitek armors. Hmmm.. Just like the group that attacked earlier...

Using more cover, she continued forward.

Yeah. This way, we can talk no matter the distance.
It's kinda a bummer on the privacy, though. If we really c hear eachother all the time. Erica said to Tophat, still looking out over the lake.

She shook her head a little, then said, "Well, if I can't do anything to help right now, I might as well do something productive." She started climbing back down the side of the ship.

I've set up a system, so that I pick up on key phrases. I might be able to teach you how to do it. That way, I can ignore peoples thoughts. Considering the... active relationships around here, I really needed that.

Dio looked over at Four.
"Do you have a spade onboard? I'd like to construct some earthworks, so those with less armour have some kind of cover."

"Like I said, would you be willing to put Gerry through such treatment, even if he wouldn't endanger us?" Riou responds. He sees Four coming down the ship and waves to her. "How are you, today?"

So, how do you do it then?

Winter could see a crossroad in the distance. A mast of sorts was placed at the centrof it, and ten Magitek armours stoof by to guard it. As it stood, there was no way to approach the mast without being seen.

Kefka was watching the screens infront of him too attentively to give more then single-word answers to Anger.
Anger grew bored of it, dismissing the situation as irrelevant and teleported away.
Guess who? It said to Noel telepathically.

"Good luck with that." Makoto brought up the binoculars and found Winter, following her progress.
